Yesterday, upon arriving at the Norwood Town Hall to pick up my photos from the Mullet Festival Visual Art Exhibition, I was told that they had been selected for the Carclew's Choice Award. Out of the 68 artworks (from 56 artists) featured at the Mullet Festival, only 11 were selected for this award.
So rather than going home with me, my photos have now been taken to the Carclew Youth Arts Centre Gallery (11 Jeffcott Street, North Adelaide) to appear in an exhibition of selected artworks from the Mullet Festival.
I didn't stay for the award ceremony at the Mulltet Festival last week (now I wish I had) and somehow missed the email and telephone call regarding my selection, so I don't have any other details about the Carclew exhibition. I'll update this post as soon as I find out more.

The Carclew exhibtion will run from 2 May to 13 May, at the Carclew Youth Arts Centre Gallery, 11 Jeffcott Street, North Adelaide.

Yay!! Congratulations!
It's just a pity you can't retrospectively show some of this week's batch - you might've ended up winning all 11 awards yourself. Great work.
